U10/U9 Girls Travel
This program is for girls only ages 8, 9, and 10. This program introduces the girls for the first time to competitive soccer outside the club. There is only one team
of girls, and they will practice 1 or 2 nights weekly and play an 8-game season. Coaches:

updated game schedules will be distributed.*** Unless instructed otherwise, for home games, the girls will be wearing the white side of their reversible jersey. For the away games, they will be wearing the
gold side of their jersey. **** We encourage all parents, friends, and family to attend as many home and away games as possible. ***** IF A PLAYER NEEDS A RIDE TO ANY GAME, PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF THE COACHES AT
LEAST 24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE GAME SO THAT WE CAN ARRANGE CAR-POOLING. WE CANNOT AFFORD TO BE SHORT PLAYERS FOR ANY ONE GAME, SO IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL PLAYERS ATTEND THE GAMES. ****** All players should be
on the field 30 minutes prior to the start of any game.
Practices:
Practices will be held on Tuesday nights from 6:00 to 7:15 at Breisinger field, which is next to the Pleasant Hills boro building. All players
will receive a phone call by 5:00 the day of practice if that practice is to be cancelled for any reason. A cancelled Tuesday practice is automatically rescheduled for the following Thursday, same time and field
(Breisinger, 6:00 PM).
Safety Regulations:
Necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and watches are prohibited (children with recently pierced ears must have the new earrings covered with tape or
bandages). Articles of clothing that have buckles, zippers, studs or grippers are prohibited. (Elastic band or drawstring shirts or sweatpants are encouraged.) Non-molded or replaceable type spike, baseball or
football spikes are prohibited. Hair combs or barrettes that are plastic or molded are prohibited. Insurance regulations require the wearing of shin guards at all practices and games. Additionally, the shin
guards must be completely covered by the sock. Children who must wear eyeglasses are encouraged to wear a sport strap. Casts are permitted provided the cast is adequately wrapped and not used to gain an
advantage.
