Articles of clothing that have buckles, zippers, studs or grippers. (Elastic band or drawstring shirts or sweatpants are encouraged.)
Necklaces, bracelets, rings, earings and watches (children with recently pierced ears must havee the new earrings covered with tape or bandages).
Non-moded or replaceable type spike, baseball or football spikes.
Hair combs or barrettes that are plastic or molded.
Note:
Children who must wear eye glasses are encouraged to wear a sport strap. Casts are permitted provided the cast is adequately wrapped and
not used to gain an advantage.
Referees will make determinations as required. Insurance regulations
also require the wearing of shin guards at all practices and games. Additionally, the shin guards must be completely covered by the sock.
PHSA must abide by these regulations to be insured. Any child not in compliance with these regulations will not be permitted to play.
